UPDATE: When Can I “Dine-In” in L.A. County?! Possibly Soon!

L.A. County remains in Stage 2 of the five-stage Roadmap to Recovery. However, the latest Health Officer Order issued Tuesday, May 26 – Safer at Work and in the Community – allows houses of worship, office worksites, in-store shopping at retail establishments, including indoor malls and shopping centers, flea markets, swap meets and drive-in movie theaters to reopen…with restrictions (think limited capacity, social distancing requirements, face coverings, required posters, etc.).

This is a huge milestone in our road to recovery and falls in line with the latest State of California guidelines for reopening safely.

The move sets the stage for L.A. County to request a variance from the state, as other counties have done recently, including San Diego County and Orange County, which will allow even more businesses to reopen soon…like dine-in restaurants!

Stay tuned to the COVID-19 Digest. We will keep you posted on when you can dress up in your fancy pants for date night at an actual restaurant.
