CA Greatly Expands Job Protected Leave
to Employers of Five or More Employees

This year California introduced sweeping changes to its already generous job protected leaves of absence.

*Local entities (cities and counties) are allowed to enact minimum wage rates and several cities  have recently adopted ordinances which establish a higher minimum wage rate for employees working within their local jurisdiction.
** Exempt employees in California must earn two times hourly minimum wage

Missed the 12/31/2020 Harassment Prevention Training Deadline? Don’t Worry, We’ve Got You Covered!

Have you trained your workforce on Harassment Prevention?  December 31 was the deadline to train all employees and leaders for one hour and two hours, respectively.
To respect social distancing protocols, EBHR is scheduling and facilitating interactive training sessions via Zoom now. Contact us to schedule your team and leader training.
REMEMBER: Newly hired and promoted employees must complete Harassment Prevention with the first six months of hire or promotion.

EBHR has developed interactive sessions, tailored to your organizational needs, to raise awareness around Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. Employee sessions focus on understanding bias and tools to enhance interpersonal interactions. Manager sessions go deeper and delve into how unconscious bias may impact decision-making and tools to support leading more consciously.
